Everything here is based on real use. We’ve been testing eco-friendly products for years, in our home, kitchen, and daily routines. If something didn’t work, we say so. If it’s worth the money, we explain why and how long we’ve had it.
The reviews and guides are organised into four areas.
Zero Waste covers the practical everyday swaps. Shampoo bars, safety razors, reusable pads, dental floss and more. These are the products that replace single-use items for good, as long as you pick the right ones.
Home and Garden covers what we clean with, what we grow in, and how we run our home day to day. Ecover cleaning products, compostable pots, a DIY hydroponics setup and more.
Avoid Obsolescence is the section we care most about. Planned obsolescence is one of the most wasteful things in modern manufacturing. The reviews here focus on things built to last, like Le Creuset cast iron that improves with age and kettles that keep going for years.
Biodegradable and Compostable cuts through the label confusion. Not everything marketed as biodegradable actually breaks down at home. We cover what the certifications mean, which products genuinely qualify, and what’s worth buying.
If you’re new to this and not sure where to start, the Green Insights section covers the thinking behind it all.
